Meet the Band

We’re an an ambient alternative band, combining soulful vocals, cinematic strings, and intimate piano to round off the sonic mix.

We’re inspired by artists as varied as Rachmaninov, John Hopkins, Radiohead, and Nils Frahm - and draw on a wide variety of musical styles to make our core sound.

The Open Wild made our debut performance on the Alcove Stage at Latitude Festival, UK in July 2025, receiving exceptional feedback.

With 2 singles now released (Rose in the Universe, Escape), and many more songs written and finalised, we are currently working on building our catalogue of music before releasing a debut album in 2026, to continue sharing our music with the world.
